       MINUTIAE provides fingerscan system specially designed to be user-friendly, just uses the registered fingerprint to verify and authenticate the user each time the finger is placed on the sensor. The system takes 2-3 seconds only to verify each user. The system administrator assign the usage rights of each user based on the set rules both for Time Attendance and Access Control purpose. Minutiae is convenient to use, user just need to put their finger on the sensor without key in any password or placing any card. Once the verification is done, the system will display the outcome on the LCD Screen showing the user’s ID and status, the Green/Red light will appear, and the speaker will say out “PASS/FAIL”. Since the system is biometrics system, it will not accept the artificial fingers and those fingers which are too dry or too moist will have problem verifying.
